Background
KCW Racing are a Northumberland based race team, formed in 2011 by Karne Conning and Colin 'Sal' Wintrip, to contested in the 2011 Melville Motor Club and North East Motorcycle Racing club F125 championship with rider Jonny Wintrip from Amble.
Alongside 15 year old Jonny, KCW also recruited two new riders for the 2012 season, Jonny's older brother, 25 year old Gav Wintrip also from Amble and 26 year old Dan Mackay from Hadston.
For the 2012 season Jonny continued to campaign in the F125 championship while the two new riders contested in the PI 600 championship.
